1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account and authentication information
When you create or access an Inkia account, we may collect the sign-in identifier and profile information made available by your selected sign-in provider, such as Apple, Google, or email authentication. Depending on the provider and your choices, this may include an email address, provider-specific account identifier, display name, or profile image.
1.2 Age and preference information
Inkia is intended for adults. We may collect your age or age-confirmation selection and your selected content preferences and story-theme preferences. We use this information to apply age controls and organize the Service experience.
1.3 Story interaction and chat information
When you interact with an Inkia story or AI character, we may collect your messages, story and character identifiers, session history, timestamps, choices, actions, and the AI-generated responses. This information is used to operate and personalize the story session, maintain continuity, provide the chat experience, protect the Service, review safety issues, improve our systems, and train or evaluate AI systems, including models used to operate Inkia.
1.4 Device, technical, and usage information
We may automatically collect IP address, device model, operating system and version, language, application version, time zone, identifiers, crash information, log data, approximate location inferred from IP address, and information about how you use the Service. We use this information for security, diagnostics, analytics, reliability, and service improvement.
1.5 Purchase information
If you make a one-time in-app purchase, we receive transaction-related information from Apple, Google, or another payment provider, such as product identifier, transaction identifier, purchase date, entitlement status, and refund or restoration status. We do not receive your full payment card number from the app store.
1.6 Support, reports, and communications
If you contact support, report content, or communicate with us, we collect the information you provide and records necessary to respond and manage the request.
2. How We Use Information

Apply age and content controls and investigate violations or harmful activity.
Process, validate, restore, and record one-time in-app purchases.
Analyze usage, fix errors, prevent fraud, and improve product quality.
Comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect users, the public, and our rights.
3. How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that process it on our behalf, including cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, customer support, safety and moderation, payment validation, and AI model or infrastructure providers. AI providers may receive relevant messages and story context to generate responses, and may process data for the purposes described in our agreements with them, including AI training or evaluation as permitted by those agreements.
We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to lawful requests, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a merger or asset transfer, or with your direction. We do not provide a public user-content publishing feature in the current version of Inkia, and your chat messages are not publicly posted by us as part of the ordinary Service.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Account and authentication information: retained while your account is active and for up to thirty (30) days after an account deletion request is processed to allow account recovery. After this period, the information will be deleted or de-identified, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal claims.
Purchase and transaction records: retained for the period required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes, which may be up to ten (10) years where required by applicable law.
Chat, story-session, and interaction data: retained for the operation of the Service, AI training and evaluation, safety, abuse prevention, and legal compliance, generally for up to ninety (90) days after deletion of the account, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary for security, disputes, or legal claims.
Support and report records: retained for up to two (2) years from the last interaction, unless a longer period is required or necessary for legal claims.
Technical and usage data: may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form for analytics and service improvement. Irreversibly anonymized information may be retained indefinitely.
5. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account through the available in-app account controls or by contacting us at [CONTACT EMAIL TO BE PROVIDED]. We will process the request within a reasonable period. Consistent with our retention practices, account and authentication information may be retained for up to thirty (30) days after the deletion request is processed to allow account recovery. After that period, the deletion becomes irreversible and the account, story sessions, and access to purchased or unlocked content may be permanently removed. Some information may be retained as described in Section 4 or where required by law.
6. U.S. Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to know or access personal information, request correction, request deletion, obtain a copy of certain information, opt out of certain processing, and appeal a denied request. We will verify requests as required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights. To submit a request, contact [CONTACT EMAIL TO BE PROVIDED].
7. Children
The Service is intended for users who are at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
8. Security and International Processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the Last Updated date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or other reasonable means.
